Are you make sure Gameboy Color out of your sight now?

Why Gameboy Color Popular than other Game Console?

The Game Boy Color was not the first handheld game console with color screen in the wrold, but it was one of the best sellers of its era.Are you make sure Gameboy Color out of your sight now?

The Game Boy Color is a handheld game console, manufactured by Nintendo, which was released in Japan on October 21, 1998. It is the Game Boy's successor and part of the Game Boy product line. But on March 23, 2003, the Game Boy Color was discontinued.

Although Game Boy Color The Game Boy Color was not the first handheld game console with a color screen in the world, it was one of the best sellers of its era.The Game Boy and Game Boy Color were both commercially successful, selling a combined 32.47 million units in Japan, 44.06 million in the Americas, and 42.16 million in other regions

Are you sure Gameboy Color out of your sight?

In September 1989, Atari launched the Atari Lynx, the world's first color-screen handheld game console, and the following year, Sega launched the Game Gear, both of which had a higher level of hardware than the Gameboy Color (and arguably more so). But the GBC, a latecomer, had two advantages - the battery life and the price. Because the Atari Lynx and Game Gear with backlights are very power-hungry, so the battery life is basically about 3 hours. And abandoned the backlight GBC only needs two five batteries to ensure more than 20 hours of playtime. In addition, Game Gear is priced at 19,800 yen because of the cost. A GBC, on the other hand, only sold for 6,800 yen. These two advantages made it the handheld of choice for many players at the time.

But as each game machine continues to update and iterate, the GBC began to be gradually forgotten. On March 23, 2003, the Game Boy Color was announced to stop production.

Are you sure Gameboy Color out of your sight?
With the rise of the retro craze and the depth of social media, more and more retro gamers have started sharing various retro consoles in their social accounts in recent years, among which everyone loves the GBC. the GBC has gained greater resonance as their childhood memories. But many of them have GBCs as well as lost or damaged, only to be discarded or forgotten in the corner.
